Gasthaus Zum Zecher in Lindau

The food is very good and plentiful. Price-performance ratio great.

Nice hotel, nice rooms, great service, great price-performance ratio and an excellent restaurant kitchen, both in the regional Alps / pre-Alpine cuisine and in pizza (the pizza is unique). We are super satisfied and will be happy to come back. In addition to the very good main courses, you have to mention that the ice cream (we had vanilla and chocolate) and the tiramisu are really great.

We were eating there, I had a schnitzel with fried potatoes. Schnitzel was perfectly fried and delicious fried potatoes. They also liked the other people's pizzas, gladly again?

Ate there as a family of 3 and have to say .... it was fantastic !!! We had meat dishes and pasta and loved the food. It was also very nicely prepared and served. But ... make a reservation in advance !!!

Hotel clean, everything okay. It's a shame that as a hotel guest you weren't allowed to eat in the restaurant because there were no more tables available. Our impression was different, there were many tables vacant just not set.

We have been here several times. The food was always good and tasty, the service was nice and friendly. I can recommend it.

Very friendly staff and really good food! The cheese spaetzle were nicely spicy and the onion rings on top (homemade) were even better! The cordon bleu with corn flakes breading was filled with mountain cheese and smoked bacon, very tasty. But the big hit for me is the Goißenpizza! Topped with goat cheese, apple and bacon, it is a bit reminiscent of a tarte flambée. Mega tasty, beautifully "goat" without being too extreme. My absolute favourite!

Have been here to eat regularly on vacation for years and have already tried the Zecher’s rooms. We look forward to going out to eat here every year or to get great wood-fired pizza and ice cream. The service is great, the wait staff on the ball and the food is great. Rounded off by the great terrace and the price-performance ratio, it is definitely worth coming here and enjoying. Here you get everything you need. Keep it up!

We stayed at the Gasthaus Zum Zecher for a week. The rooms are modern and clean. The rooms are cleaned daily and the towels are changed if necessary. The breakfast buffet was good, something for every taste. The service in the restaurant is really great, everyone is totally polite, courteous and very dedicated and the food is really great! Fair prices and very good quality. We also liked the homemade ice cream from the in-house ice cream parlor. We would love to come back!

Very tasty, good food? and the plates are very generously arranged for the "normal" hunger. Got to know this restaurant on our short break in Lindau. I can highly recommend it.

We can recommend the Gasthof zum Zecher. We start with the staff, so nice and attentive, I've rarely had anything like that. The rooms are modernly equipped. The food was also really great, everything was fresh, pizza, was also awesome. We all enjoyed it very much. We will be back. Thanks to the great team

We were there as a group for 3 days. We were very impressed by the service team. Very professional as the process was on our long evenings where we had a lot of fun ?. Also for breakfast everything was very well organized and someone was available for further requests at any time. The rooms were really great and well equipped. The only thing we would complain about was the very, very weak hair dryer in the bathroom. Otherwise everything was wonderful ? We will be back!!!

Contrary to other recessions, the staff in the restaurant was very friendly. We hadn't made a reservation and were assigned a table anyway - until the guests who had reserved came. The pizza, as well as schnitzel and children's schnitzel and salad with turkey was very tasty and fresh. The food came quickly and especially the pizza was really hot. So overall very tasty and great service

So the food is really delicious and freshly prepared. Staff very friendly and attentive. What I find totally scary are the outdoor chairs .. You could really put something nicer up there .. But by and large very satisfied price-performance ratio is right ..

We have already been to Zecher's home for several days. We are enthusiastic about the hospitality that is shown. The cleanliness in the whole house is Exemplary. The staff was very competent, helpful and friendly. The kitchen is a hit, everything we ate was just great. If you could give 5 stars we would do it. Conclusion: we'll be back!

Spacious restaurant with a large terrace. Regional and Italian cuisine. The asparagus soup in advance was very tasty. The asparagus dish with side dishes of pork, beef and turkey with roasted potatoes was excellent. The cheese spaetzle with salad was perfect. The wine Solaris from Haug from Lindau was great (could only have been a little colder). Highly recommended.

Stopped here be a use of the good average reviews on Google. Staff are friendly enough, but the food is wanting. Ordered a salad and got a pile of iceberg letters with two tomato quarters

The kaspetzla was really really good

Staff are very inattentive, boardering on rude. Bedroom very stuffy within air-conditioning - only a large window to open, which stops you walking around the tiny room. Upon arrival, the third bed not made and we had to ask three time for it to be made up. Eventually we got to sleep. Not a good experience

Great restaurant with fair prices. Staff was super friendly. Extra menu for children. Otherwise huge selection of dishes. From pizza to fish, meat, salads there is something for everyone. It is possible to sit outside. For toddlers there is a high chair.

Stayed here as part of a Radweg Reisen tour - will also be writing to them with feedback. When we arrived we were given the key to our room (at 4:30pm) but it was still dirty and hadn't been cleaned. Staff at first did not believe up but eventually came upstairs and saw that it was indeed still a mess. No apology, and asked if we could just wait an hour or so - not cool as we had been cycling 50km and desperately wanted a clean shower but bathroom was covered in dirty towels. Oh and we had a cranky 2 year old in tow. Convinced them to clean it there and then while we had the pizza but they never came to tell us when it was ready, and never really acknowledged or apologised - and it was clearly cleaned to a bit of a sub par standard. So completely unacceptable hospitality. Oh also everything around was closed for dinner so we reluctantly came to eat dinner there and found it to be completely booked up - surely should have advised us of this when checking in that we should book or something? Also v noisy unless all windows shut (which we find stuffy) until around 10:30pm due to restaurant downstairs - not a massive problem but not great for toddler sleep so don't recommend for kids. Pros: room is a good size (we had a triple), seems a decent place overall. We had a pizza while we waited for our room to be ready which was nothing to write home about but good value and dinner was decent. Restaurant staff were also nice. But horrible check in experience and complete lack of acknowledgement that a room should be ready and CLEAN means minimal rating from me.

Excellent rooms, service and value!

Ate here three times (under duress from children, really good swing in car park), 2/3 times super service. Cordon Bleu poor, Spatzle good, Bodensee surf and turf good. All nothing to write home about

The staff are very friendly and efficient. The food is very large portions, suitable for two or three people. The food is well presented and tasty!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Accommodation in the hotel has been renovated and is very modern and well appointed. The best we had in the 10 day period we spent cycling around the lake. Breakfasts were Ok. Dinners weren't restaurant quality but good enough value.

We had dinner here on our way through town. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful! Our server was Julia. She spoke plety of English and was just adorable. They have free parking. Plenty of seating inside and outside. And it's just a short walk down to the shore of the Bodensee.
